The Fine Print

FEAR NOT: NO PUPPIES WERE HARMED DURING THE PRODUCT PHOTO SHOOT!

This was an 8 week old litter of Martha’s who had been working on balance equipment since they were 2 weeks old.  They had familiarity with the exercises and equipment, and well developed core muscles for their age.  The products were on a 2” foam gym mat, covered by white paper, and spotters/handlers were near enough to catch them, if need be.  Photographer and puppies were exhausted by the end of the shoot!

Many thanks to Dom of RC Imaging Photography for his patience and all the wonderful pictures he took for us that morning!  http://www.rcimagingphoto.com/index.html

SAFETY & COMMON SENSE:

We ask that you do as we say, not as we do – at least in the instance of the photo shoot – and please make sure your dogs wear a well-fitted harness when working on Toto Fit equipment.

We also suggest that you work on a non-slip cushioned surface such as a yoga or gym mat.

Your equipment should be stabilized, either propped against something or wedged so it does not roll—please look through our photos for examples of how to do this.

Do not allow your dogs to jump off of the Infinity pieces – assist them by holding their harness and encourage them to step down or walk off.

When beginning a K-9 Core Fitness program, keep in mind that these exercises are more tiring to your dog than you might think.  Remember to watch for signs that your dog is fatiguing: wanting to sit or lay down, trying to get off of the equipment when they ordinarily don’t, picking up feet, shifting weight, things like that.  It is good to allow for frequent breaks and keep the training to short periods initially.  Working with a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer who can put together a core fitness program specific to your individual dog is always a recommendation.

Stuff Happens – be prepared by taking the safety precautions suggested above: harness, cushioned surface, controlled movement and always be within arm’s length ready to assist
